Ann Marie Murphy is an attorney, artist and iconographer.

Iconographer Ann Marie Murphy paints (writes) in egg tempera and acrylic mediums. She has been painting since 2020 and has completed over 15 icons. She first began painting as a young child and more seriously in secondary school. She put art aside until 2020, when she met master iconographer Veronica Royal. Ann has been studying at Royal Icon Studio for 2 years.

Ann currently resides in Northern Virginia. She is widowed from her beloved husband, Michael Aloysius Thomas Aquinas Murphy, who dies in 2018 from ALS. Before his death in 2018, Ann and Mike practiced law together with their son, also an attorney. Ann now practices law with her son Michael in Burke, Virginia.
